Implementation Panel
Medowie implementation panel. The Medowie implementation panel has been established to provide community advice to Council on the implementation of the Medowie Planning Strategy.
The objectives of the Medowie Panel are:
The objectives of the Medowie Panel are:
- to provide a forum to regularly report on progress and share information between Council and the community
- to drive the implementation of the actions contained within the Strategy.
Members include the Mayor, Central Ward Councillors, Council staff from Strategic Planning, Economic Development and Assets units and 4 community representatives. Robert Dein and Ben Niland (business reps), Heather Sharp and Geoff Voigt (resident reps).

The Medowie representatives have raised a number of priorities for Council consideration, based on comments from community residents and businesses.
- Safe pedestrian and cycle access to key places such as schools and sporting areas, and around the town centre
- Appropriate amenities for the town centre
- Safe fenced and appropriate playground for the town centre
- Improvement of Campvale drainage issues
