medowie tidy towns

Tidy Towns is not operating at present. In the past we have been involved with:

• Work in Medowie to create areas that enhance the livability and sustainability of the community and it’s environment
• Regeneration of drainage easements to help with water quality in Medowie
• Maintain the Community Centre gardens and Recreation Park
• Replant and maintain reserves, playgrounds, equipment and entry to Medowie
• Liaise with Council on works to be done in the reserves and playgrounds
• Meet on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at 7.30pm at the Medowie Community Centre
• Hold a working bee on the third Sunday of each month and otherwise as needed
• Participate in National Tree Planting Day with the local schools
• Work with local schools on gardening projects with students
• Participate in Adopt A Road
• Co-ordinate Clean Up Australia Day
